True love
I just watched Memoirs Of A Geisha yesterday with one of my friend who I used to called him “uncle” even though he is not and just same age with me.hehe… The only one comment that I can give this movie is “fantastic”.I was very pleased to read this novel before I enter the cinema and watch this movie. I found myself more understanding the life of geisha and show more respect to them now.
Memoirs Of A Geisha is a story about a little girl who called Chiyo and how did she struggled to turn to be a geisha with a new name called Nitta Sayuri. It tells the story of her life as a geisha with such gentle courtesy and determination that we can quickly brought under the spell of her character. Geisha are sell their talent but not their body. They need to go training and learn dancing, calligraphy, instruments, and entertain their client to gain their salary and popularity. But they are not prostitute. Geisha will not have a true love. They are only as a puppet and run under all the men, entertain them and make them happy. How many people will marry a geisha as a proper wife? How many geisha can really fight for their love in real life? Sayuri met the chairman and because of him,she suffer through any training, bear up under any hardship, just want to take a chance to attract the notice of Chairman. She was brave enough to fight for it and get close to the man she loved. After get through all hardness, they fall in love to each other and have a happy life together.
Happy ending might not be always appear in our life. Sour, sweet, bitter and spicy are the tastes of love. It will not called love if without one of them, but how many people can tolerant the taste of bitter? What is true love? Tolerate, sacrifice or something else? What to do if you fall for someone that you think you shouldn’t have? Fight for it even though you’ve know you are wrong since start of the beginning? Or give up………..?
Taste of love..
Taste of sour – jealousy
Taste of sweet – feel happy to hang out with him/her. Share your happiness and sadness. Show more care when he/she need.
Taste of bitter– Once you met someone that had attracted you,you might be feel excited and care his/her feeling and never hope he’ll get sad again. You’ll never mention of his/her sadness or weak point. Just want to let him/her to forget and jump out from the coloum of grieve. Quarrel. Less of care and love. One side love!!
Taste of spicy – ( No idea)
I have no idea what is the taste of spicy in love anymore. Just as I said, it’s not call love if without one of them. But what is the different between “like” and “love”?? How to differentiate them?
